This Policy is issued in conformity with the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

02What data we collect

When you visit the Site we may collect information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked with you (“Personal Information”), including:

  • Personal identification — name, email address, phone number, date of birth, location, physical address.

We also collect aggregated and de-identified information derived from the above that does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity.

03How we collect it

You directly provide most of the data we collect — when you access the Site, complete a survey or provide feedback, subscribe to services or publications, or sign up for marketing. We may also receive data indirectly from social networks referencing our services, partners in co-branded services or joint marketing, and publicly available sources.

04How we use your data

We only use Personal Information to perform our contractual obligations with you and when the law permits, including to:

05How we share your data

We share Personal Information only to perform our contractual obligations and when the law permits — with partner companies (if you agree), business partners and affiliates in co-branded or joint marketing activity, third-party vendors and service providers performing work on our behalf (hosting, mailing, financial services, analytics), and companies under common ownership with BlockBytes®. Service providers are prohibited from using your information except as needed to perform work for us or as required by law.

When we disclose Personal Information for a business purpose, we enter a contract that requires the recipient to keep it confidential and use it only to perform the contract. Categories disclosed to the parties above may include identifiers, customer-records data (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)), protected classifications, internet/network activity, and geolocation data.

06How we store your data

We protect your information online and offline according to generally accepted industry standards. Sensitive information is encrypted in transit (look for the lock icon and “https”). Offline, access is limited to employees who need it for a specific job, and servers holding Personal Information are kept in a secure environment.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; while we strive to use commercially acceptable protection, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Questions: [email protected].
